Charles and Susan lived with their family in Park Rapids, Minn., for quite a number of years. He died of a heart ailment at a cabin on the north shore of Potato Lake, Arago township, where he had lived alone the past two years of his life (from the Park Rapids, Minn., Enterprise, May 16, 1940). He and his wife are buried in Park Rapids, Minn., in Greenwood Cemetery, lot 130.
